About

Footnote 37
The rich and exuberant lettering of Georgian England inspired the design of the Shire Types. Initially released in 1998 it was later expanded for OpenType in 2004 and has since received Cyrillic, Greek and Arabic support. This chunky typeface with its interchangeable letters and quirky rhythm is the focus of this issue of Footnote.
