About

Footnote 31
Our new typeface, Brucker, takes its inspiration from the emotively charged years of the early 20th century. At this time a group of young German artists began to challenge established ideas of what art is. Their vision of the world was made from broken lines and uncompromising, energetic, feverish marks. Various examples of lettering from the same period also share a similar approach. Footnote 31 shows are some of these ideas were incorporated in the design process and letter shapes of Brucker.
